Catholics need to know the answers

  1. When does eternal life start?
The minute you trust Jesus as your savior eternal life is then yours.
Some people believe that eternal life starts when an individual dies. (This is wrong)
Jesus taught that Christians have eternal life. (Present tense)
Eternal life starts the moment that a person believes on Jesus.
Jesus told his followers that anyone who believes in him has eternal life.
The one who trusts Jesus has crossed over from death to life.
The answer to the first question is ... ETERNAL LIFE BEGINS THE MOMENT
A PERSON TRUSTS JESUS AS HIS PERSONAL SAVIOR

 2. How long does eternal life last?
Eternal life is forever life.
The life Jesus gives is not temporary but eternal.
Some people believe that salvation is temporary and
only lasts until he commits a serious sin. (This is wrong)
Jesus said his sheep would never perish.
A Christian can say that he is going to heaven for sure.
When a person trusts Jesus as savior, then all his sins are paid for.
This includes all his sins, past, present, and future.
We don't get eternal life because we are sorry for our sins.
Eternal life is the Christian's because Jesus paid the penalty on the cross.
The answer to the second question is ... ETERNAL LIFE LASTS FOREVER.

 3. How can you get eternal life?
You must recognize our need for Jesus to save us.
You must accept Christ as our own savior.
Eternal life is a free gift that you receive by faith.
The answer to the third question is ...YOU MUST PLACE ALL OF YOUR TRUST AND
CONFIDENCE IN JESUS RATHER THAN IN
YOUR OWN GOOD WORKS OR EFFORT.
